Very smart hotel between Potes and Fuente De, right in the fabulous Picos de Europa mountains. The scenery is spectacular and the hotel is small enough to still be personable. Only a one night stay as a stop-over to Santander, after the Icelandic Volcano grounded all UK flights. But we will be back, and for longer next time!

The location is very quiet, 10 minutes by car from Fuente De. The hotel is relatively new and well-preserved. The room was large, as well as the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was ok taking into account the price you pay.
No parking facilities. You must arrive early to be able to park in a small parking bay in front of the hotel. Slight moldy smell in our room. Only one tiny soap for both during the whole stay. The landlady was very friendly but the landlord was a bit unpleasant. a smile in his face and this hotel would be just perfect.

Reception could be better (a smile is for free), but the room and facilities are OK. Food is also value for money, although the breakfast could be better (cold coffee).

A beautiful boutique hotel with a good restaurant that served food at sensible times (excellent breakfasts). Stunning views to the front of the property. The Manageress was friendly, efficient and really couldn't do enough for us. Swimming pool turned out to be very small but was a nice to have. Rooms whilst a bit on the small side were very tastefully decorated.

We liked the location, having wonderful views of the mountains. Had we not had torrential rain throughout our three day stay we would have enjoyed some of the many walks around. The decor and ambiance of the hotel was very pleasing. The large lounge was very comfortable and we spent some hours sitting in comfort and reading.

I liked location of the hotel. Room was clean and quiet surrounding.
I didn't like that instead of 5 euro for breakfast per person, like was stated, I was charged 32 euro for 2 persons taking breakfast only twice during our stay. Unfortunately, I discovered that later.

Nice location, good for several walks. Staff on hand all the time if you did wander into the bar for a drink they were always available.
Disappointed that the view from the bedroom window did not offer the mountain scenes. Don't go out of season except perhaps at the weekend - we had the hotel to ourselves so did not use an otherwise empty dining room and there was little nearby so we drove into Potes every day.

Nice surrounding. Cosgaya too small village. Only 4 hotels nothing else. I recommend Potes instead of Cosgaya.
Breakfast served too late, beginning 8.30. Menu only in Spanish.

Businesslike, quite laid back, good situation.
Not overly friendly, disappointing breakfast choice.
